Change of Zoning from Industrial & Commercial to Residential

I act on behalf of Martin Turley who is the owner of a section of land at "Doovoge", Athlone. The land is currently zoned "Industrial & Commercial". The land and buildings are in a ruinous and derelict condition and are of no use to anybody. In order to improve the area and residential development in the area, is to rezone the area in question to "Residential" under the Draft CDP 2020-2026.
This would be of great benefit to the people, land owners and the County Council to improve the conditions of the area.
