Sustainable Transportation & Movement

The development of sustainable communities will require stronger integration between land uses, social infrastructure and sustainable modes of travel. As prescribed in the Mullingar Local Transport Plan, this will involve the delivery of a transportation network that enhances connectivity / accessibility and improves journey quality for all users, whether on foot, by bike, public transit or private car. Collectively, these measures will help to improve quality of life, reduce environmental impact and accommodate the diverse mobility needs of Mullingar's residents.
