Sustainable Communities

A defining feature of Mullingar is its people and the communities that make up and contribute to the town. Mullingar’s growth will result in increasingly diverse and vibrant communities. Accordingly, the establishment of sustainable communities should create the conditions where social, natural and economic needs are met and interlinked with well-being and quality of life. This will require policies and measures covering social infrastructure, accessibility / connectivity and inclusion.
