The Mullingar Settlement Area Plan 2025-2031 represents an important milestone for the town, an opportunity to reaffirm the role of Mullingar as a driver of growth. The Strategic Vision, informed by the distinct qualities of Mullingar, the town’s history and accolades and the Stage 1 ‘Pre-Draft’ public consultation, is forward-facing in its approach to guiding sustainable growth and development. This Plan’s frameworks, policies and objectives will influence how the town prepares for, and responds to, opportunities and challenges.
