Introduction

The Draft Mullingar Settlement Area Plan sets out a comprehensive strategy for the proper planning and sustainable development of Mullingar for the period 2025 to 2031. This Plan seeks to promote the sustainable growth of Mullingar as a vibrant, compact and accessible ‘Key Town’, defined by its unique built environment, economic strengths and local character.
