The closing date for submissions on the Draft Westmeath County Development Plan 2021-2027 expired on the 30th June 2020.
A Chief Executive report has been prepared a report on the submissions received summarising the issues raised and outlining the response of the Chief Executive to same, including recommendations for changes to the Draft Development Plan where appropriate to address the issues raised.
Your views and suggestions
A total of 158 submissions were received in relation to the Draft Plan.
Westmeath County Council wishes to express its appreciation to those who made submissions on the Draft Plan.
Outcomes
This Chief Executive's report was circulated to the Elected Members of Westmeath County Council on the 21st September 2020.

The consideration of the Draft Plan and the Chief Executive's Report must be completed within 12 weeks of circulation i.e. by 13th December 2020. In this regard, a special meeting of the Council to formally consider all matters contained within the Chief Executives report will take place on the 16th November 2020.
