Westmeath County Council has commenced the preparation of a new Local Area Plan for Mullingar. The Mullingar Local Area Plan will set out a comprehensive strategy for the proper planning and sustainable development of the administrative area of Mullingar and its immediate environs for the period 2024 to 2030.
