Pursuant to the provisions of Section 11 of the Roads Act 1993 and Section 180 of the Planning & Development Act 2000 (as amended), Westmeath County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to consider the making of a declaration that all roads within the following named residential estates be made public roads:
Castletown Green, Delvin (6 units)
Farranshock Park, Mullingar (213 units)
The Cedars, Lakepoint Park, Mullingar (31 units)
15-18 The Downs & 36-39 the Gables, Lakepoint Park, Mullingar (8 units)
Public Display:
Maps showing the roads proposed to be made public may be inspected from Tuesday 11 November 2025 to Thursday 11 December 2025 (inclusive) from 9:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday, except for public holidays, at the offices of Westmeath County Council, Áras An Chontae, Mount Street, Mullingar, N91 FH4N.
Submissions or Observations in Respect of the Proposed Declarations:
Submissions or representations in relation to the proposed declarations may be made via the Council’s
Public Consultation Portal at https://consult.westmeathcoco.ie/en/browse or in writing to the Administrative Officer, Planning Department, Áras An Chontae, Mount Street, Mullingar, N91 FH4N by 4:00pm on the 31 December 2025. (One medium only)
Please note that the submissions or observations will be made public on the Council’s website and at the offices of Westmeath County Council. The details including the names of those making representations may be shared with relevant Council and Government Departments or their agents involved in the process and may form part of reports linked to the making of any Declarations.
